BPP Review Stakeholder Advisory Panel | Best Practice Principles for Shareholder Voting Research

The 2017-2019 BPP Review is being overseen by a Steering Group comprised of the current signatories to the Principles and an independent chair.

The Steering Group is supported by a Stakeholder Advisory Panel, the Members of which, act in their personal capacity. The terms of reference of the BPP Review Stakeholder Advisory Panel require it to be composed of members with the mix of skills, backgrounds, knowledge, experience, geographic locations and diversity appropriate to oversee updates to the Principles in light of the transparency requirements for proxy advisors outlined in the amendments to EU Shareholder Rights Directive 2007/36/EC, adopted on 3 April 2017 and due for implementation in 2019. Members represent the following key stakeholder groups directly or through representative bodies – asset owners, asset managers and companies.
